| Name: | Edmund Pevensie |
|---|---|
| Location: | England |
Edmund Pevensie is the third of four children. When he was young, he and his brother and sisters found their way through the back of a magical wardrobe into the Kingdom of Narnia, while they were staying at a country house during the air raids in London. At first, through magic and greed, he betrayed his siblings to Jadis, the White Witch and unlawful Queen of Narnia. After he was rescued from her clutches, and spoke with Aslan, he was forgiven, and reunited with Peter, Susan, and Lucy.
After defeating Jadis, the four Pevensie children were crowned the four Kings and Queens of Narnia, at the castle at Cair Paravel. They ruled during the Golden Age of Narnia; High King Peter the Magnificent, Queen Susan the Gentle, King Edmund the Just, and Queen Lucy the Valiant. But all adventures must come to an end, and theirs did so when they were adults and came upon the wardrobe again in Lantern Waste. They stepped through the door to discover that no time in England had passed, and they were once again their school-aged selves.
A year later, they returned to Narnia, although hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years had passed there. They restored the rightful king, Caspian the Tenth, to his throne, before again returning to London. The summer after that, although Peter and Susan were too old to return to Narnia as children, Edmund and Lucy and their cousin Eustace were drawn through a painting onto the older Caspian's ship, the Dawn Treader, and explored the East in search of the Seven Lords who had been sent away by his uncle, the usurper Miraz.
Sadly, at the end of the voyage Aslan told Edmund and Lucy that they, too, were now too old to return to Narnia for adventures, although perhaps they would find their way there once more. And indeed they did, but that is a different story to tell.
-------------------
Edmund has a rather spiteful temper, but has learned over the years just how bad things can be when he loses it, especially as it led almost to his death the first time he was in Narnia. As a result, he tries very hard to keep control over it.
As King Edmund, he was "a graver and quieter man than Peter, and great in council and judgment." He also helped his brother bring peace again to Narnia, and rid it of the Witch's stamp, including those evil creatures owing allegiance to her. Most likely, this will only cause problems when he meets werewolves, as one in particular, Maugrim, the Captain of Jadis' forces, nearly killed his sister Susan, although he was not present for the altercation.
His full titles are "King of Narnia, Duke of Lantern Waste and Count of the Western March, and Knight of the Noble Order of the Table."
-------------------
Edmund is nineteen years old, physically speaking, although he lived in Narnia for about fifteen years when he was ten. He is tall, and fair, and perhaps somewhat old-fashioned to modern-day folk, as he died just a few years after World War II, in 1949, in a railway accident.
I don't own him. Whoever owns all of C. S. Lewis' stuff is the one who owns him, although Disney also apparently owns a share now. This journal is for fun, not profit, and will be used in . He has been there since perhaps the third week of March, in the year 2005.

genarti. I'll do my very best to live up to his previous mun's excellent work, and please contact me with any questions/comments/etc. All his past relationships and actions in-bar still hold, although the mun begs indulgence and correction if she happens to lose track of any details.
